To obtain a roadside wall which enables water to be efficiently sprinkled on a road surface by using a limited space, even if sprinkled over a long-distance range.
A wall section 14 of a sound insulation wall 12 is installed in the lateral direction of an expressway 10, and a receiving section 16 is arranged above the wall section 14. During rainfall time, rainwater is stored in a bag-shaped water insulation sheet 20 inside the wall section 14, after being received by the receiving section 16. The stored rainwater is sprinkled on the road surface by making an on-off valve 26 opened in a water sprinkling section 24. This enables the water to be efficiently sprinkled on the road surface by using the limited space, even if sprinkled over the long-distance range.
