PURPOSE: To carry out fire fighting activity such as moving over a long range and prolonged fire extinguishing work by a method wherein a robot for fighting fire receives an alternating current to be supplied to a feeder wire with a power receiving body in a non-contact manner to be used for running a fire monitoring function, fire extinguishing function and shelter guiding function.

CONSTITUTION: When a control panel 30 receives fire information from a fire receiver, a high frequency current is supplied non-contact to a feeder wire 20 from a power source supply section 21 as power source for a robot 40 for fighting fire while fire position information and an order for moving are transmitted to the robot 40 for fighting fire wireless. The fire 40 for fighting fire receives the power non-contact with a power receiving coil 50 to drive a motor 42 by a power source converted by a power source converting section 51 and moves near a fire occurring point. A TV camera 46 is operated to photograph situation at the fire point. The results are transmitted to the control panel 30 by wireless to control the direction of a monitoring nozzle 45 to the fire occurring point. At the same time, a pump 44 is driven to release an extinguishing agent while indicating the direction of sheltering from a speaker 47.
