Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the actuation of an accessory device attached to a robot even while the robot is working by adding a means which delays the signal delivered from an input/output interface. CONSTITUTION:A 1-step action instruction is taken out of a program storage means 31 storing an action program for a robot and its accessory device and then decoded by a program decoding means 32. This decoded instruction is delivered to an instruction output means 33. If this instruction indicates the drive of the robot, it is delivered to a drive means 35 for an object to be driven. If said instruction indicates the drive of the robot accessory device, it is delivered to an instruction output delay means 34 and then to an accessory device drive means 36 that drives the accessory devices such as a coating gun, etc. attached to the robot hand, etc. Thus it is possible to actuate an accessory device of the robot even though the robot is moving. This improves the working efficiency of the robot.
