Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attempt reduction of the financial share of installations and exclusively occupied area therefor by providing a conveyor line for work transport along the circumferential direction of a circle with an assigned diameter centering one reference axis and installing a robot on a rotary table whose rotary axis coincides with the reference axis.

CONSTITUTION: A conveyor line 2 and a rotary table 3 are provided centering a reference axis A. When the table 3 is turned in synchronism with the movement of a work W along the line 2, relative positional relationship between the work W and a robot R is kept constant regardless of their movement, consequently it is possible to carry out regeneration work using instruction data assigned to their stop positions as it is. Meanwhile, the area occupied by the rotary table carrying a robot installed on it and turning a half circle is π/2r which is considered to be reduced.
