Abstract:
To avoid expression of a robot from being restricted due to deflection of a floor surface.SOLUTION: The robot is provided that comprises: a housing; a gravity center movement mechanism moving the gravity center of the robot to change the posture of the robot; a first sensor detecting the posture of the robot; and a processor. The processor controls the gravity center movement mechanism to move the gravity center of the robot to a second position from a first position to thereby change the posture of the robot from a first posture to a second posture, and the processor obtains a measurement value in reference to the detection result of the first sensor. The measurement value corresponds to a variation amount of the posture of the robot when the robot changes its posture to the second posture from the first posture. The processor determines whether the floor surface on which the robot is put is deflected or not by comparing the measurement value and a prescribed reference value with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16A
