Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a robot system for acceptance/guidance with excellent versatility, reliability and service property and with a simple structure capable of correctly detecting the condition of a visitor and a vacant room condition, etc., regardless of a mounting place and a structure of a building, etc., and performing precise acceptance/guidance operation.
CONSTITUTION: This system is constituted so as to be provided with (a) a robot main body l provided with a display part 6 displaying a department, etc., a sound storage/synthesis part 7 storing/synthesizing a sound signal, an acceptance input part 9 where the visitor performs an input, etc., of one's destination, robot data transmission/reception parts 3, 4 transmitting/receiving the data, etc., between they and an external controller, a traveling drive part 12 autonomously letting it travel and a robot control part 2, etc., controlling the whole robot, and (b) the external controller provided with a visitor detection part detecting the visitor, etc., a visitor information part informing about the visitor, an external data transmission/reception part transmitting/receiving the data, etc., between the robot main body 1 and an external control part, etc., controlling the whole.
