Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a robot system which can really conduct game action using a hand such as 'janken' (the game of paper-scissors-stone) to entertain customers.
CONSTITUTION: A robot system 100 includes a robot 101 equipped with a hand mechanism 90 having plural fingers 106-110 constituted so as to be able to be bent and extended; and a robot control part 102, and a hand action setting means 164 sets any of the three actions, that is, stone, scissors and paper to the hand mechanism 90. Hand mechanism control parts 136-138 control the drive of the bending and extending of the fingers 106-110 of the hand mechanism 90. Hand action detecting and discriminating means 104, 164 conduct the detection and discrimination of the state of hand action of an opponent. A combination discriminating means 164 decides the combination of the state of the hand mechanism 90 and the detected state of the opponent hand.
