Each finger 3a-3c includes base members 4a-4c, and link members 5a-5c whose one-side ends are swingingly supported by the base member. A body 1 is provided with a plurality of mounting parts to which fingers 3a-3c can be mounted, and each of the fingers 3a-3c is mounted at each of the mounting parts 2a-2c. The link members of the fingers 3a-3c is driven by electric motors 7a-7c, respectively. Stopper members 15a-15c are provided adjacent to the mounting parts 2a-2c, respectively. The stopper members 15a-15c have heights that are set at different levels, thereby differentiating swingable ranges for the link members in the mounting parts. A control device 8 recognizes a relationship between each of the electric motors 7a-7c and each of the mounting parts 2a-2c based on differences in the swingable ranges.
