Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot capable of expressing various expressions similarly to the face of a human by driving eyeballs and eyelids with a simple configuration.
SOLUTION: On the back side of the face 2 of the robot where a pair of the eyelids 1 are rotatably attached on the back side, an eyeball rotating mechanism attached to a base part 4 is arranged. The eyeball rotating mechanism is constituted of a pair of rotational drive sources 5, gears 7 and 8 and rotary solenoids 10, independently, arbitrarily and rotationally drives left and right eyeballs 3, and makes it possible to open and close the eyelids 1 by the engagement of the pin part 3a of the eyeball 3 and a guide part 1b on the inner side of the eyelid 1.
