Abstract:
To improve retainability of rocker shafts supporting rocker arms operating a valve by oscillation.SOLUTION: Through holes (64, 65) penetrated in a direction crossing an axial direction at a position axially different from supporting parts of rocker arms (40, 50), are formed on rocker shafts (32, 33). A supporting member (20) is provided with shaft supporting holes (27, 28) penetrated in an axial direction and supporting the rocker shafts while surrounding the whole periphery of an axial partial area including formation parts of the through holes of the rocker shafts, and shaft fixing holes (60, 61) extended in a direction crossing the axial direction and communicated with the shaft supporting holes. In a state of inserting and supporting the rocker shafts into the shaft supporting holes, the shaft fixing holes are positioned corresponding to the through holes, and the rocker shafts are fixed to the supporting member by fixing members (71, 72) fixed in a state of passed through the shaft fixing holes and penetrated through the through holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
