Abstract:
PURPOSE:To get a light and accurate article at a low price by forming a retaining member with an internal cylinder fitting, which has a spherical convex, a race member, which has a spherical concave keeping a uniform clearance while corresponding to the above cylinder fitting and is buried in the end part of a rod made of synthetic resin, and a part of the rod material located in the clearance between the above two so as to join a cloth member being low in coefficient of friction onto its inner surface. CONSTITUTION:On both ends of a rod 10 made of resin reinforced by glass fiber having an elliptic sectional form or the like, a ball joint part 23 is formed. Here the ball joint part 23 is composed of an internal cylinder fitting 14, which has an insertion hole 24 for a pivot and a spherical convex 26 on the periphery, and a race fitting 16, which has a spherical concave 28 forming a uniform clearance between the spherical convex 26 and itself and a communication hole 30 in its cylindrical wall, and a retaining member 18, which is formed into one with a link part 22 through a communication hole 30 between the spherical convex 26 and the spherical concave 28, and a sliding cloth 20, which is a low friction material and joined onto its inner surface. Further, the retaining member 18 is formed simultaneously with a rod part 10.
