To provide a roll brush including brush bristle attached to the base through an adhesive agent applied to the base, and a brush bristle formed of a base in which openings are formed.
The roll brush includes at least the base in which the brush bristle formed of piles is implanted and cores around which the base is wound. The roll brush in which the brush bristle is implanted is so formed that, when polishing the surface of a planar member and the brush bristle is worn, a new brush bristle surface appears when winding around the core so that desired polishing can be performed. Also, the roll brush is configured so that openings are formed in the base forming the brush bristle. The base in which the openings are formed is wound around the cores so as to extend from one end to the other. The roll brush polishes the surface of a work while the portion of the base having the openings is rotated.
