PURPOSE: To improve workability and safety for roll changing while shifting a dolly to a lengthwise movement type and a lateral movement type by very simple operation.

CONSTITUTION: This dooly is fitted with a foot lever 4, having a roll resting part 1 on an upper part, providing a fixed wheel 2 for lengthwise movement on one end side and a free wheel 3 on the other end side, and having a grounding wheel 5 to be pivotally mounted on the dolly on one end side; an elevation- free lateral-moving wheel 5; and a locking member 6 for fixing the lateral- moving wheel 5 in a lowering condition. Usually, a grounding protruded part 4a and the lateral-moving wheel 5 are kept into an grounded condition by spring force, and the grounding protruded part 4a is grounded to lift the dolly to make the fixed wheel 2 into an ungrounded condition by pushing down the foot lever 4 to support the whole dolly by the lateral-moving wheel 5 lowered to a lower position than the fixed wheel 2 and the free wheel 3.
