Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of strain and deflection in a tool main body, and thereby prevent dimensional accuracy from being degraded by forming a recessed groove section in the inner circumferential section of the tip pocket of the tool main body in order to rest a tip.fastening member.
CONSTITUTION: A tip having a pressing surface 5E is mounted on a tip seating face 4 formed in a tool main body 1. A recessed groove section 7 which is opened to the outer circumference and the single end of the tool main body 1, is provided for the inner circumferential section of a tip pocket 3 faced to the pressing surface 5E, a tip fastening member 8 is fixed in the aforesaid place while a fully solid section 8A is positioned at the inner circumferential side of the recessed groove section 7, and a fastening member is provided, which opens/closes a gap 8F opened to the side faces in the three directions of a fastening section 8B positioned at its outer circumferential side. A wedge surface abutting to the inclined surface 5A of the pressing surface 5E of the tip 5 is formed in the tip fastening member 8.
