Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly feed rolls to the next process by facilitating feeding to a belt conveyor even if these rolls cause deterioration of merchandise value when deformed such as rolls of wound sheets of high foaming properties and are loaded erectly juxtaposed on a pallet.
SOLUTION: One face of a peripheral side plate of a pallet 1 surrounding erectly loaded rolls R is provided as a face capable of opening and closing, this face is closed and the pallet 1 is positioned at a side in a conveyance front part of a belt conveyor 6, the pallet 1 loaded with the multiplicity of erect rolls R is overturned 90 degrees on the conveyance front part of the belt conveyor 6, the erect rolls R are substantially leveled, the closed face of the pallet 1 is opened, and by this opening, the rolls R are sequentially transferred on the side plate of the pallet 1 and fed onto the belt conveyor 6.
