Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a belt member, which is functioned as a belt conveyer, from being worn early by improving a mechanism for transferring an object to be processed, which is sent out of a gap between a main roll and a heating bed, to a main roll and a heating bed on the next stage concerning a roll finishing machine composed of main rolls provided for a plurality of stages and heating beds provided corresponding to these rolls.
SOLUTION: A suction roll 15a at a transferring mechanism 15 is a hollow member to be rotated in the direction of arrow (r), its outer peripheral surface has gas permeability, and its internal space is sucked in vacuum by an exhaust pipe 15f. An endless looped guide belt 15d having gas permeability is cyclically turned in the direction of arrow (e) while being wound around the suction roll 15a and a guide roll 15c. The object to be processed sent out of a main roll 1 is sucked by the suction roll 15a and placed on a guide belt 15d. Since the guide belt 15d is turned together with the suction roll 15a but is not slid, the danger of early wearing is eliminated.
