PURPOSE: To easily fix a roll paper housing case, and to easily convey roll paper by providing a roll paper holding means generating load low in a direction to draw out the roll paper, and high in the direction to draw in the roll paper.

CONSTITUTION: This case is equipped with a case cover 2 which can be freely opened and closed at an opening part in which roll paper 1 can be housed, and a hook 3 which is restrained with a facsimile main body so as to be freely attachable and detachable. Then, the device is equipped with a holding means constituted of a roll paper holding sheet 5 for a unidirectional load, which holds the roll paper 1 in a state that the roll paper 1 is drawn out from a housing case main body 4 to the edge of the case cover 2, that is, on a path for conveying the roll paper 1 to the facsimile main body. The elastically deformable roll paper holding sheet 5 is provided at the case cover 2 so as not to be elastically deformed since an external force is not applied in a state that the case cover 2 is opened, and so as to be abutted on the roll paper 1, and elastically deformed in a state that the case cover 2 is closed.
