Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll press method capable of pressing the positive-electrode mixture layer and the negative-electrode mixture layer in the electrode precursor of a bipolar electrode simultaneously, into desired compression amounts respectively.SOLUTION: A roll press method includes a collection step of previously collecting interrelation of the temperature of positive and negative electrode rolls 31, 32, and the thickness of the positive and negative electrode mixture layers 21, 22 before and after the press, a calculation step of calculating the positive electrode heating temperature required for the positive electrode role 31 and the negative electrode heating temperature required for the negative electrode role 32, from the thickness and target thickness of the positive electrode mixture layer 21 before and after the press, and the thickness and target thickness of the negative electrode mixture layer 22 before and after the press, with reference to the interrelation obtained in the collection step, and a roll press step of pressing an electrode precursor 25 between the positive and negative rolls 31, 32 under a constant load, while heating positive electrode role 31 to the positive electrode heating temperature, and heating negative electrode role 32 to the negative electrode heating temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
