Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll shaft of a rolling roll capable of preventing corrosion of a roll shaft body caused by immersion of cooling water, and of performing stable rolling over a long period without generating breakage or the like.SOLUTION: A roll shaft of a rolling roll has a roll shaft body 1 including a columnar large diameter part 2 with an axis O as a center, and a shank 3 having a smaller diameter than that of the large diameter part 2 extending with the axis O as a center from an end surface 2A of the large diameter part 2. A seal ring 5 is fitted to the shank 3, and a seal part 6 is formed at an interval between the seal ring 5 and a roll neck part 3B which is a root part of the shank 3, and hydrophobic filler F is sealed in the seal part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
