Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-shaped stamp enabling clean transfer without transfer unevenness even on an object to be transferred having an elliptical cylindrical side face, a foil transfer apparatus and a foil transfer method using the same.SOLUTION: A foil transfer apparatus comprises: a roll-shaped stamp 5; a heater 6 for heating the roll-shaped stamp 5; a rotary movement jig 8 for holding an object 9 to be transferred in a rotatably drivable manner; a long belt-like transfer sheet 4 arranged between the roll-shaped stamp 5 and the rotary movement jig 8 and capable of traveling; a winding motor 22 for intermittently winding the transfer sheet 4; and a back tension motor 21 capable of applying tension in a direction opposite to a traveling direction to the transfer sheet 4. The roll-shaped stamp 5 or the rotary movement jig 8 can reciprocate in a direction in which the roll-shaped stamp and the rotary movement jig approach to and separate from each other, while keeping contact pressure between a side face of the object 9 to be transferred and an outer peripheral surface of the roll-shaped stamp 5 constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
