Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll sheet transport crane device and a mounting method of a roll sheet which can accurately fit the roll sheet into a roll sheet pedestal regardless of the position of a CPC mechanism.SOLUTION: A roll sheet transport crane device 10 is used when transporting and mounting a roll sheet 22 to a roll sheet pedestal 27 operating in a traverse direction horizontally orthogonal to a passing line of a metal strip in conjunction with CPC (Center Position Control) operation of a tension reel in the passing line of the metal strip. The device comprises: a crane 11 for lifting up and down the roll sheet, which is movable in the traverse direction; a sensor 18 for measuring a traverse position of the roll sheet pedestal 27; and control means 17 for controlling a traverse position of the crane 11 so as to correspond to the traverse position of the roll sheet pedestal 27 in real time based on the traverse position of the roll sheet pedestal 27 measured by the sensor 18 when the crane 11 lowers the roll sheet 22 and places it onto the roll sheet pedestal 27.
