PURPOSE: To secure operations in feeding and fitting a stencil in a totoally automatic stencil-making printing press, by providing reinforced parts at an interval necessary for each cycle of stencil making and printing, in a rolled stencil paper consisting of a laminate of a film and a porous tissue paper.
CONSTITUTION: The rolled-type stencil paper 46 consisting of a laminate of a polyester film and a porous tissue paper is provided with the reinforced parts 47 by adhering a paper (having a predetermined width) at intervals of, for example, 50cm so that a stencil for a B4 size copy can be formed from the stencil paper 46. The reinforced parts may be formed by applying an acrylic adhesive in a sufficient theickness, instead of adhering the paper. When the rolled- type stencil paper 29 thus obtained is applied to a totally automatic stencil- making printing press, it is securey fed into a stencil feeder 30 reciprocated between a form cylinder 31 and rollers 21 to set an end of the stencil paper 29 to a form cylinder clamp 32, so that the stencil paper 29 can be transferred smoothly.
