To provide a conical roller bearing device of such a structure that the heat emission of a bearing associated with high speed rotation is reduced, capable of suppressing the increase in the agitating resistance of rolling elements in compliance with the revolving speed of the inner ring member and the heat emission quickly.
The roller bearing device is structured so that the part whereto the lubricating oil 35 is supplied, is selected in conformity to the revolving speed signal of the inner ring member 4 given by a rotation sensor 37, and a changeover valve device 38 is driven so that the lubricating oil 35 is supplied into a cylindrical roller bearing. Thereby a required quantity of lubricating oil 35 can be supplied with good responsiveness, and the device can be prevented from getting a high temperature and the cylindrical roller bearing 1 from seizure while the rise of the agitating resistance is suppressed.
