PURPOSE: To make the life of a roller longer, avoiding plasticizer from being dissolved out to a developing liquid, by forming a cleaning roller of an elastic foamed resin containing an internal plasticizer having the reactive performance.

CONSTITUTION: In a cleaning roller 3 of a photoreceptor drum 1 of a wet type electrophotographic copying machine, 20W80wt% of ether or ester with an alkyl radical of C4W12 and having reactive vinyl radical is combined with an elastic resin such as polyvinylchloride and NBR, and foaming agent and assistance agent (stabilizer) are mixed and the roller 3 is made through heating and forming. Since the said monomer is polymerized and also reacted with the elastic resin, so it is not dissolved into a liquid developing agent 4, then a roller with excellent durability can be achieved.
