Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of curved surface in the lateral direction by forming a stripe having gentle ruggedness in the lateral direction of the left and right surfaces of the corrugate fin.
CONSTITUTION: A corrugate fin 4 is formed on the metallic sheet 2 by rotating with engaging upper and lower forming rolls 3a, 3b. If a stripe 17 having ruggedness is formed with the variation amount of 0.05mm-0.3mm against the thickness t of the fin, the tension side 13 and the compression side 14 of the fin are not made curve and the refracting power of the height direction is strengthened.
