PURPOSE: To simplify assembly of a transport path for banknotes etc. without hindrance in a roller guide element consisting of a plurality of rollers and a retainer/guide member for transported objects by forming one end of the retainer /guide member in a concave curved surface and the other end in a convex curved surface.
CONSTITUTION: A roller guide element 1 includes a plurality of rollers 2, a retainer/guide member 3 to retain these rollers 2 rotatable and guide transported objects, and bosses 4 for mounting on the supporting frame of the transport path. Further in the thickness direction of said retainer/guide member 3, one end is formed in a convex curved surface 3a and the other end in a concave curved surface 3b to constitute joint curvatures. This roller guide element 1 is provided with an end face having concave curved surface 3b in the transport direction, and this end face is overlapped with the end face of another roller guide element 1 having convex curved surface 3a, and through jointing of them continued, a transport surface of any desired length is formed. Accordingly a flat transport path of any length with no steps as projection in the transport direction can be assembled easily.
