Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a shape measuring roller which can be formed to a relatively small diameter, is not required to be rotated, and is excellent in maintainability.
CONSTITUTION: This roller is provided with a fixed shaft 11 and outer cylindrical body 13 put on the shaft 11. The body 13 is maintained on the shaft 11 with a plurality of roller bodies 14 in between so that the body 13 can be freely rotated around the shaft 11 while the body 13 is in contact with a metal strip 16.
