Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a protective cover having no structure where an opened protective cover projects forward from a device and to reasonably arrange and easily operate a roller pump, by abolishing an opening/closing type protective cover disposed on a rotor of a conventional roller pump and using a sliding protective cover.
SOLUTION: A cover handle 8 for covering a clearance 6 for insertion is disposed over the rotor 4 slidably by a finger action, interlocking of a driving shaft 3 of the motor 2 with the rotor 4 is disconnected when the cover handle 8 is directed to the slide direction, and a tube 10 is inserted into the clearance 6 opened by sliding and moving the cover handle 8. Then, the cover handle 8 automatically, elastically returns to an original position for covering the clearance 6 to connect the driving shaft 3 to the rotor 4, and at least one roller 5 moves while pressing the tube 10 by rotation of the rotor 4, thereby transporting liquid in the tube.
