Abstract:
To provide a low dusting and low outgassing rolling apparatus.
The rolling apparatus is e.g., a rolling bearing lubricated by applying a lubricant being a mixture of a silahydrocarbon oil and hydrophilic silica to the surfaces of the inner ring 1, outer ring 2, rolling elements 3, and cage 4 of the rolling bearing to form a thin uniform film thereon. The content of the hydrophilic silica is 0.1 to 5 mass% based on the entire lubricant. The primary particle diameter of the hydrophilic silica is desirably 5 to 40 nm. The kinematic viscosity of the silahydrocarbon oil at 40°C is desirably 90 to 130 mm2/s.
