Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device capable of effectively suppressing the temperature rise of a rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing device 1 includes a rolling bearing 4 having an inner ring 10, an outer ring 11, and a plurality of rolling elements 12 arranged between the inner and outer rings, and a communication path 36 at least part of which is formed in the outer ring 11 and/or a housing 3 encircling the outer periphery of the outer ring 11. The communication path 36 communicates an annular space 32A and an annular space 32C with each other. Along with the rotation of the rolling bearing 4, an air flow is formed between the inner ring 10 and the outer ring 11 to move from one end side to the other end side in an axial direction X of the rolling bearing 4. The air flow is returned through the communication path 36 to one end side in the axial direction X of the rolling bearing 4.
