Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 1 comprises an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, a plurality of rolling bodies 4 and a hard film 8. The hard film 8 is formed on at least one surface which is selected from a group composed of the inner ring 2, the outer ring 3 and the rolling bodies 4. The inner ring 2, the outer ring 3 and the plurality of rolling bodies 4 are formed of iron-system materials. The hard film 8 includes an underlayer 8a, a mixed layer 8b and a surface layer 8c. The underlayer 8a is formed directly on the surface, and has Cr as a main component. The mixed layer 8b is formed on the underlayer 8a, and has WC and DLC as main components. The surface layer 8c is formed on the mixed layer 8b, and has DLC as a main component. In the mixed layer 8b, a content rate of WC in the mixed layer 8b is lowered continuously or stepwise toward the surface layer 8c side from the underlayer 8a side, and a content rate of DLC in the mixed layer is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
