Abstract:
To prevent or suppress generation of stick-slip noise.
A rolling bearing comprises a hub axle 7 with a drive axle 10 passed therethrough and fixed thereto, and an inner ring fitted to the outer circumference of the hub axle 7. The inner ring 4 receives a large diameter part 10c of the driving axle 10 by an end face 4a thereof. In this rolling bearing for the wheel, the end face 4a of the inner ring 4 is formed as a roughened surface to increase the friction resistance between the end face and the large diameter part 10c of the driven axle 10 so that any slip of the large diameter part 10c of the driven axle 10 to the inner ring 4 hardly occurs.
