The rolling bearing comprises an outer ring 11, an inner ring 14, the roller 13 and a comb tooth-like retainer 12. The outer ring 11 has flanges 11a on both sides, and the comb tooth-like retainer 12 is constituted by a cylindrical annular part 12a and pillar-like parts 12b, 12c provided at both sides of the annular part 12a with a predetermined interval respectively. At least two rollers 13 are arranged in series in a pocket part between the pillar-like parts 12b, 12c adjacent to the pillar-like parts 12b, 12c, and a support part for supporting the roller 13 in the pocket part is formed on a side surface of the pillar-like part 12b. Further, a shape capable of inserting the roller 13 from a radial direction of the comb tooth-like retainer 12 is formed on a distal end 12e of the pillar-like part 12c, and a support part for supporting the roller 13 in the pocket part is formed on a side surface of the portion other than the distal end 12e of the pillar-like part 12c.
