Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a high-accuracy bar by executing the skew rolling of a rolled stock by revolving rolls in accordance with a ring having tapered parts on the inside peripheral surface.
CONSTITUTION: A rolling device for a bar and tube is constituted of the ring 2 having the tapered part on the inside peripheral surface, fixed housing 3 with which the ring 2 is supported and which is connected to a device with which the ring 2 is revolvingly driven, three or more rolls 1 which are brought into internal contact with the tapered part of the ring 2 and the axes of rotation of which are arranged twisting them by a prescribed angle in the circumferential direction of the ring. A roll housing 5 with which the rolls are supported in cantilever is arranged on the inlet side of rolling of the fixed housing, further a pullback device 8 with which the rolls are pressed against the surface of the ring and device for adjusting the position of the rolls 1 in the directions of the roll axes are provided and the rolls are revolved in accordance with the ring 2. Thus, the high-accuracy bar and tube can be manufactured.
