PURPOSE: To obtain a sheet of good quality by setting the tension on the outlet side of rolling stand not less than a specified value and not more than a specified ratio of tensile strength and rolling at the time of the execution of rolling for making the thickness on the outlet side of the rolling stand not more than a specified value using a rolling mill of which the diameter of work roll is in a specified range.
CONSTITUTION: The sheet 6 which is ≤0.3mm in thickness can be suitably rolled with a comparatively compact rolling equipment by rolling with the work rolls 2 having a diameter of 60-120mmΦ. And the durability to roll wear can be suitably given by taking the diameter of roll as ≥60mmΦ, on the other hand, the rolling under comparatively lower load is enabled and also the control of the surface roughness of sheet is made easy by taking the diameter of roll as ≤120mmΦ. The generation of cross buckle is prevented and then the generation of sheet breaking or the like is avoided by setting the tension on the outlet side of rolling stand at ≥25kg/mm2 and ≤70% of the tensile strength. In this way, excessive correcting process isn't needed and the sheet of good quality can be obtained with a high yield.
