The rolling model optimization device includes a boundary value table 12 that stores boundary values showing boundaries of a plurality of models, a model formula connection boundary value changing section 21 that changes the boundary values stored in the boundary value table according to an actual value of rolling, a model formula priority order table 22 that stores a priority order of a plurality of models, an evaluation section 11 that determines a model suitable for rolling conditions based on the boundary values acquired from the boundary value table and the priority order acquired from the model formula priority table, a model switching section 13 that switches a model to the determined model, a learning and calculating section 15 that calculates a learning coefficient from a difference between a prediction value calculated for each of the plurality of models and the actual value, and a model calculating section 17 that calculates a prediction value of the model using a model formula of the model switched by the model switching section and the learning coefficient calculated by the learning and calculating section.
