To provide a rolling oil for aluminum foil that exhibits excellent rolling lubricity, suppresses formation of roll coating or breakage, does not increase the amount of aluminum abrasion powders in the rolling oil, exhibits excellent abrasion powder dispersibility, is applicable to rolling under high pressure or high-speed rolling without staining the surface of aluminum, and can be sufficiently defatted by annealing in a short time, and a manufacturing method of aluminum foil using the same.
The rolling oil for aluminum foil for rolling aluminum foil comprises 0.01-2.0% of an alkylene oxide adduct to a partial fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol as an additive, 0.1-15% of a specific higher alcohol as an oily agent and the rest of one or two or more from among -olefins and mineral oils as a base oil. The kinematic viscosity of the whole rolling oil for aluminum foil is 1-5 cSt (at 40C).
