Abstract:
To remedy defect of shape of a rolled material end without depending on a skill level of an operator.SOLUTION: A rolled-shape control device comprises: first coolant control input calculation means calculating first control input of spot coolant equipment depending on a size of shape deviation between an actual shape and a target shape of a rolled material; second coolant control input calculation means calculating second control input of spot coolant equipment based on an evaluation function which has predetermined relationship between the shape deviation and the respective control inputs of a roll actuator and the spot coolant equipment; plate end shape monitoring means which based on comparison between: shape difference between a first actual shape of the end of the rolled material along a plate width direction and a second actual shape of a portion inside an end of the rolled material; and a predetermined threshold value, selects second control input when an end of the rolled material has a tensioned shape; and a coolant flow rate control device controlling the spot coolant equipment based on control input selected by the plate end shape monitoring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
