Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof greening apparatus effective for decreasing the amount of soil to be placed on the roof.
SOLUTION: This roof greening apparatus 1 for placing soil 3 on the roof 2 and performing the greening of the roof 2 with the plants 4 grown on the soil 3 is provided with a structure member 5 to be placed in the soil 3 and having an opening 51 and an inner space 52 connected to the opening 51. The structure member 5 supports the soil 3 positioned above the member 5, stores the rain water intruding through the opening 51 in the space 52 and the circumference excluding the bottom of the structure member 5 is covered with a water- permeable sheet 6.
