Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof rail for an automobile reduced in its manufacturing cost.
SOLUTION: The roof rail is composed by providing a rail body 3 fixed extensibly in the lengthwise direction on a ceiling panel 1 of the automobile by using a fixing point 2 as a base end, and a cap 4 fixed to the ceiling panel 1 and movably covering the extensible end of the rail body 3.
