Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve joining rigidity of a roof member by joining a reinforcement in a roof rail outer, and fastening the left and right ends of the roof member to this reinforcement and a roof rail inner by a bolt.
SOLUTION: An upper end C part of the pillar side 1 and the left and right ends of a roof member 2 are joined together by a roof inner 4 joined to a roof rail outer 3, and a roof panel 5 is joined to the roof rail outer 3 and a roof rail inner 4. An upper end D part of the pillar side 1 and the roof rail outer 3 are joined together. Upper and lower parts of a hat-shaped reinforcement 6 having a projecting part 6a are also joined in the roof rail outer 3, and the left and right ends of the roof member 2 and fastened to the projecting part 6a of this reinforcement 6 and the roof rail inner 4 by a bolt 7. Therefore, joining rigidity of the roof member 2 is improved.
