A first recessed place for molding a locking hook 13 on the molded product for the roof tile is formed to the pressing surface 33a of an upper mold 31 a ridge B1, which molds the groove arranged in the vicinity of the clay lump gathering surface avoiding the clay lump gathering surface, is formed to the pressing surface 35a of a lower mold 32. When a rough region 30 is extended into a cavity S at the time of pressing, the first recessed place is filled with clay which flows on the side of the upper pressing surface 33a and the projection B1 is bitten in the rough region 30 on the side of the lower pressing surface 35a at the same time to mold the groove. As the result, the molded locking hook 13 is hard to crack even if the molded product is baked.
