Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pass wires and the like through a ventilating passage while reducing the number of curves by enhancing watertightness. SOLUTION: A roof ventilating device 2 has a cylindrical flashing member 7 mounted in a ventilating opening 6, a ventilation frame 9 surrounding the flashing member 7 is mounted on the outside of the flashing member 7, and a cover 11 forming a ventilating passage 10 between it and the ventilation frame 9 is mounted on the ventilation frame 9. A flashing part 15 is provided on the upright wall 9A of the ventilation frame 9, and a hanging wall 12 having a flashing part 23 whose lower end is parallel to and overlaps the flashing part 15 is provided on the lower surface of the top plate 11A of a cover 11, the hanging wall 12 being made of a flexible elastic material such as rubber.
