Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof which can be easily executed and on which plants like turf can be planted.
SOLUTION: A plurality of long shingles 4 made of a metallic plate are parallelly arranged on sheathing roof boards 2. The bottom wall of the recessed part of each shingle 4 is fixed to the sheathing roof board 2 and a hook 4b at one side of each shingle 4 is fitted to the shingle end receive 4f of the adjacent shingle 4 and further, the belt-form part 4a of each shingle 4 is made sag by the on weight to form a curved recess 4h. A rising part stagnating water is provided in the curved recess 4h to prevent the supplied water from a water supply pipe 14 from flowing to the eaves direction. A water-adsorptive material 12 like cotton is stuffed in the curved recess 4h and plants like turf 18 are placed to grow the plant on the single 4.
