Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roofing material which is simple in structure and facilitates integral formation thereof, and to provide a roof using the roofing materials.
SOLUTION: The roofing material 100 is integrally formed of aluminum, and the roof is constructed by using the roofing materials. The roofing material includes a panel body 10 having one lateral-end region 10A, the other lateral-end region 10B, and an intermediate region 10C, one lateral-end rib 20, the other lateral-end rib 30 arranged along a border portion between the other lateral-end region 10B and the intermediate region 10C, an engaging hook 40 formed at the tip of the lateral-end rib 20, and an engaging projection 50 formed at the tip of the other lateral-end rib 30. A rear surface 10a of the one lateral-end region 10A is protruded toward a front surface compared with rear surfaces 10c, 10b of the intermediate region 10C and the other lateral-end region 10B, respectively. The engaging hook 40 is disengageably engages with the engaging projection 50 of another roofing material 100.
