To establish a room layout structure of a house which secures satisfactorily the space and rooms desired by the user by introducing such a structure that the house is of two-story type in legal terms but of three-story type substantially.
A house concerned 1 is equipped with the first region A and the second region B which are arranged opposingly in the horizontal direction, wherein the first A is composed of a car port 3 as a high ceiling space and a dwelling part 9 in the form of a well having a height corresponding to two floors, while the second region B is composed of an accommodation room 4 as a low ceiling space and an upper and a lower room as bed room 13 and children's room 29 each having a height corresponding to one floor. The height H1 of the car port 3 is the height for one floor in legal terms while the height H2 of the accommodation room 4 does not fill the height for one floor in legal terms, and therefore, the part with the two regions A, B is considered to be of two-story type according to the law.
