Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, comprising a fluorine-containing organopolysiloxane having both terminals blocked with hydroxyl groups and an organosilane, etc., containing plural hydrolyzable groups, capable of providing cured products excellent in fouling, chemical and solvent resistances and useful as a sealing material, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This room temperature curing composition is obtained by blending (A) an organopolysiloxane, expressed by formula I [R1 to R5 are 1-8C (substituted)monovalent hydrocarbon; Rf1 is formula II (Rf2 is perfluoroalkylene, etc.; (m) is an integer of 1-5), etc.; (n) is an integer of ≥10] and having both terminals blocked with hydroxyl groups and fluorine group in the side chain with (B) an organosilane (e.g. vinyltriethoxysilane) or an organosiloxane [e.g. 1,3,5,7-tetramethyl-1,3-dipropyl-5,7-bis(diethylaminoxy)cyclotetrasiloxane] having ≥2 hydrolyzable groups in one molecule. The composition is capable of providing cured products good in chemical and solvent resistance without sticking foulings to adherends and useful as a sealing material, etc.
