Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable exact diagnosis without generating disturbance in an MRI image.

CONSTITUTION: A threaded hole 2a opening at the end face of a root surface member body 2 consisting of a nonmagnetic material embedded into a dental root 1 is formed on this body 2. A holding plate 4 consisting of a soft magnetic material and having a threaded part 4a is atttachably and detachably fixable by screwing into this threaded hole 2a. The threaded hole 2a of the body 2 is formed by previously installing a dummy bolt into a casting mold and removing this dummy bolt from a casting at the time of casting the body 2.
