Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject digger capable of nearly completely separating root vegetable crops from soil even if root vegetable crop is deeply planted and capable of improving efficiency of collecting operation of root vegetable crop carried out later.
CONSTITUTION: A vibrating plate 2 for vibrating dug soil is provided between a plow-like blade 1 and a conveyer 3 and a root vegetable crop and soil dug by the plow-like blade 1 are vibrated by the vibrating plate 2. Therefore, since soil mass becomes fine and, simultaneously, soil attached to the circumference of the root vegetable crops becomes readily releasable from the root vegetable crop, the root vegetable crop is readily separated from the soil by the conveyer 3.
