Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester for harvesting root vegetables such as carrot, capable of carrying a container for defectives.
SOLUTION: This root vegetable harvester has, on the left side of a travelling vehicle 2, pulling transfer devices 28 and 28, neck-arranging transfer devices 33 and 33, tapping transfer devices 34 and 34, leaf cutters 12 and 12 and a remaining leaf cutting transfer device 14 for cutting the remaining leaves of the root vegetables (a), wherein the remaining leaf cutting transfer device 14, a takeover transfer device 13 and a classification transfer conveyor 11 are set as a crank shape when viewed in a plane and the vegetables (a) whose remaining leaves are removed are transferred behind a driving seat 9 set at the right side front of the travelling vehicle 2, through the takeover transfer device 13 and the classification transfer conveyor 11 and stored therein.
